What a wonderful story! Thank you for delivering such a positive coming out story - realistic ones with some conflict and complexity aren't something you see too often.
The way you wrote it from each character'so POVS really is interesting and unique. You get the point across of conversations without necessary having to dig through all the dialogue. In this case, that is good as the feelings and thoughts of the characters are the point of this story, not necessarily the exact dialogue between them.
You were also able to seamlessly move through the longer timeline without really breaking up the story by showing the changing nature of thoughts between the two characters - reflecting their changing relationship at the same time.
Overall, really nicely done.

Hi. I really enjoyed reading Comfort. I have never been able to write the 'in your head' point of view. First person is really hard. You, however, pulled it off. Thanks for sharing your work.
