I still don't like Caleb (I pity him, and I know he was probably brainwashed and manipulated, but that's not the same as liking him), but this fanfic was really true to his character, I thought. I think, like he said at the end of this, that he did love his sister, but he was a coward.
Also there was a very deep message to this. My favourite part was when he said that to a point, everyone has divergence. Tris actually points this out herself in the first book: when she can't tie her own shoelaces, Christina bends down and does it for her, and Tris comments that everyone has a little Abnegation in them (except for Peter, she also said). A person can't be, for example, honest, without being brave (I realised this when Tris told everyone that she killed Will, that to me required great bravery). Therefore, does that make them Divergent? Maybe not according to the aptitude test, but if you think about it, it kind of does. Likewise, being selfless is kind of like being kind, therefore the Abnegation have traits of the Amity, though their motives differ slightly (the Abnegation do it to be selfless, but the Amity would probably be kind because it makes them feel good). And like Tobias said, selflessness and bravery aren't really that different, either. Oh, and what about Erudite and Candor? The Erudite are all about the facts, and the Candor love the truth. Facts have to be true, therefore the Erudite can somewhat be described as truthful.
Sorry about all that rambling. I just want to tell you that this fanfic is fantastic and I'm glad I came across it:-)

That was an amazing letter not ever kidding it might be one of the best things I've ever read, not pics at all, you explained it all perfectly, I feel like I have better understanding of Caleb ever tho that is not actually part of the story. So I thank you for writing this, I'd say it's as good as something Veronica Roth would writer her self.
