Though this doesn’t seem to be the planned end for this story, it’s more than a perfectly acceptable one. As far as I can remember, every loose end and significant plot point has been resolved satisfyingly, and everything I hoped to see from this story has happened. Those 250k words went by ridiculously fast what with me being both unable and unwilling to put this down for the duration of the weekend.

This is my first Batcat story I’ve read as well as my first Nolanverse one, and I have to say you’ve got me hooked. The sheer potential you’ve laid out for the characters, specifically for their Nolanverse iterations and the histories therein, is staggering. Though a part of me wonders how much of that is the base characters or your interpretation of them. Regardless of the answer, I think I’ll very much prefer your iteration of how their lives turned out. I’ve grown so terribly attached to this little fictional family over the last few days, and it makes my heart bleed to know that this will be the last I see of them until I do a reread, which is likely.

I loved this story so much it surprised me, I found the superhero-less aspects of this sequel infinitely more endearing than the happenings of the original story, though I certainly loved that too. I’ll admit that the period after Thomas’ birth filled me with a sort of existential angst for longer than I would’ve liked, but you handled it all so realistically and resolved it in such a meaningful way that I don’t feel bitter over it in the slightest.

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece of writing with us. Even if you never continue this story, I hope that one day we can see even more of these characters from you, as I think I love your idea of them more than anything else.

Is this the ending? Can I take it as a happy ending for them? ...You're not coming back to finish what you started, are you? Sigh, just wanted you to know that although it is incredibly sad that many of the fandoms for this couple (not just you, you see)were left unfinished, they are still very enjoyable.

OMG i absolutely love this! It took me days to read it all, but i couldn't stop. This is the best fanfiction ivve ever read. Really great writing and never boring. Hell, i might even reread it sometime (no actually i will definitely read it again XD). Anyways, i think chapter 37 makes for a pretty good ending to this story, but i wouldn't mind another chapter at all. Hope you keep writing more batxcat stories!

You would still have Selina and Bruce but maybe most of the story would be based around a Eric/oc or even Blake/Raven relationship! This chapter made me cry for Selina. It was just so miserable and full of emotion. I love how u turbo make this as real as possible. and you've created some really good characters here. It just makes them seem more real and persona.

I love this story, and each chapter has made me seem to live with Bruce and Selina on the island (I'd love a Molly in my life, she would be the best friend of all time!) I wanted to know, but the story is over, sooner or later continue? The last chapter was a good final but I'm selfish and I will continue to read the new life of Bruce and Selina away from gotham

I know you will not come back and to know that there could have been another thirty chapters of awesomeness that is this fic is very, very sad. yet, as someone here mentioned, I consider this a happy ending. is just sad because we could have had more.
