Reviews for SIN volume I - Those of the Horizon
A sad reader chapter 92 . 3/17/2018
I just found out of this and I was really sad because if I found out earlier maybe you would have continued this. I don't know why no one supported this, this is amazing. To think that we lost an amazing author is really sad. I support this. Please continue this. I want this to end and not be a discontinued story. I hope you continue this. I give you my respect for taking this far, but you don't have all of my respect until you finish this story. Good job :)

Yusica Tamakori chapter 92 . 5/28/2015
One step forward and another step back... to the boat battle I mean. Har har har. In all seriousness, this chapter is a lot of steps forward, especially with the highlight which is- So basically, we have two things happening here: The highlight, and another part which I love. We'll cover the part I love first. On board Haronid's ship, the SS Unnamed, SIN-Shroud has taken over. Captain Maria, whose first name is similar to a recurring character at the end of the chapter, has picked up on this development; but she's too late as it appears SIN-Shroud has already docked! One can only imagine what will happen next; spoiler warning, the virus is spreading fast!

Oh yeah, the highlight. So, what's so special about this? Everything! The fight is ten times different, and ten times better than the source material. Author wasn't playing when he decided to change things up. I'm really happy there's an actual battle between Neshi and Shakes, because I didn't really enjoy the fighting mechas in the anime. Hituro's presence was highly appreciated, as a 2v1 is basically necessary to defeat someone who is using a Deadly Sin Arma~ At first, I honestly thought Nesh was going to... you know. Glad to see that development didn't happen, and I'm very happy about that curse being gone! Can't wait to see a happy Neshinbara, and even more of Shakespear! Keep it all coming, I anticipate the climax of things. By the way, please include a little idle chat from the automatons, I really love automatons.
CO Raven chapter 92 . 5/27/2015
Was it intended to switch Shakespeare's writing from canon? Normally, Shakespeare has moved from actual writing to just quoting Shakespeare's works.
RYNO IV chapter 92 . 5/26/2015
Quick question - did Horizon and Amagi get knocked out of commission?

I like how this is going, by the way. It's close enough to the show if you tilt your head and squint a little, but it's following its own thing too. Nice job.
CO Raven chapter 91 . 5/20/2015
I see a few changes are being made to the Spanish Armada battle.
Yusica Tamakori chapter 91 . 5/20/2015
Racing towards the Tower... of London. They're going to the Tower of London. However, standing in their ways are the TRUMP! First off, we would like to welcome in the Blue Corner, Christopher Hatton! Deathly fighter and uses bone swords, bone bombs, and other bone-tastic tricks! In the Red Corner, we have Tsukasa Shirokage! He doesn't like screaming, is usually a level-headed player-one annddd- he's a gun fighter! They say never bring a sword to a gun fight... let's see how that plays out.

Oh yes, and to the Battle of the Spanish Armada. Felipe is starting to fight hard and dirty, I can only imagine Musashi suffered civilian casualties in those bombings. But uh... Karma is a bit of a bitch; because shortly after that, he seemed to lose one of his own vessels. To Musashi? No, he jammed the automatons with talismans. What about to England? No, they're not helping, plus they're fighting Musashi too. (LOL wut?!) What about Dark Seid? What? Dark Seid is DC Universe, oh okay. No Dark Seid, but!.. He did lose to The Dark. In all seriousness, it appears a third faction has shown itself, and it looks like Shroud wants in on the action. After hastily taking out Heronid and his crew, she swiftly cammandeered the ship for herself. For what? I don't know, but I can not wait to find out!
Yusica Tamakori chapter 90 . 5/20/2015
Another glorious chapter from you; and I can see you've written well on the battles the Musashi and the Grande y Felisicima; but the battle isn't what concerns me. What does this chapter justice is the exchanges between Felipe and Adele. Adele's character shows a lot of determination and dedication to her nation, which is befitting of a retainer; Felipe's character is reflectant of the one portrayed in the anime.

Yes, it appears a lot had gone on for Tres Espana in the BG, this fan fiction did not focus on that; but seeing how it does stay true to the happenings of season 2 fairly well, anybody who's watched it should know exactly what's been going on.

Great work, hope to read more.
Yusica Tamakori chapter 89 . 5/13/2015
As much as I hate to say to it, a lot of this chapter was based on material from the anime, so it makes it hard to review on the original material; err... but there was definitely a good amount of it in there. It's highly seen with the OC's we've come to know and love; but you can also catch a good amount of original lines with the vanilla characters as well. Such as some changes to Kimi and Malga's conversation for instance.

At the end, we also have another glimpse of the masked girl whom we all should know by now. With true fear... well, we'll see how that plays out, won't we?

As always, I really love all of Neito's original lines. And the battles hinted to at the end really get me pumped up, especially Tsukasa's and Hituro/Neshinbara vs Shakespear. I know Shakespeare's is going to be heavily altered from the original mostly because of the direction this story took, but also due to the presence of Hituro. Tsukasa on the other hand is an OC, and therefore never fought in the original story; we'll get to see what is presumed to be Christopher's full power and see a good amount of what kind of tricks Tsukasa has up his sleeve now. Not just that, but Tsukasa proves once again to be my favorite of the OC's.

One last thing, almost forgot... Cervantes and Karen. A troublesome duo who I definitely expect to see doing something within the next few chapters. I don't know how long I/we can expect this battle to last, but it better not end with you forgetting them; it'd be best for you to make a small list of stuff you're going to need to cover within the next few chapters, 'kay? As always, I really enjoy your writing, and hope to see more from you soon.

Will that was interesting chapter. Tenzou geting his resolve with the help of his friends. The tension between Margot and Malga. Man the ending make me feel worry how the mask girl say how her master take hold of their mind.
Yusica Tamakori chapter 88 . 5/9/2015
Another brilliant chapter from a brilliant artist. Now time for a review from the SilentHill enthusiast within, er hem.

First we have a casual segment of Masazumi hanging out with Margot, and eventually Malga. While not much is going on, it does make for some nice peace time and even shows a strengthening friendship between the three. If there's anybody that can make friends with almost everybody in 3P, then it's Masazumi for sure. I do wonder how that meal is going to be... Oh, and 1 for a commando Malga; now all we need is one of Margot. XD

The rest of the chapter follows Neito, and her interaction with Hituro is cute... yet serious. I can't help but feel it was a bit forced considering anything about teleporters hunting werewolves was never hinted at earlier; either that or I'm not following the source material too closely. That aside, this is still a great way to start a bond between Neito and Hituro, considering everything that's happened earlier... But, Hituro's explanation with why he trains in the art of Gravity Weld (and everything else) is consistent with the rest of the story.

The rest of the chapter merely follows the S2 anime, though I can't really remember if Neito was there or not. I'll have to check it out later; still I do like how much enphasis was put on Neito this chapter. While she's not an underrated character, she's always one of my favs to read about. Just like Masazumi, Margot, Neshinbara, Tenzou, Tsukasa and the rest of the Original Characters. For OC's, I'm glad they're greatly balanced. Keep up the excellent work!

I don't know how to react. The that girl messing with Masazumi and play with her as she please. That girl is dangerous and we didn't see her abilities yet. The chapter was interesting with some surprises. Congratulations onto the fourth arc! Make me excited to see what on store and how much you can make this story go so far with the excitement you made
Yusica Tamakori chapter 87 . 5/4/2015
Eugh, scary stuff. That kind of thing always sends chills up my spine. That... shadow being... is definitely something else. I don't even think it's trying right now, which is great considering how OP the Class of 3 Plum is. However, if Masazumi were to 1v1 with it- her; we know who the winner would be. Even if it were politics, I'm pretty sure that shadow girl is a good politician as well. That whole situation is just... that's scary, trapped like that. I do wonder what set Masa free though, her or the arrival of Masazumi's friend?

The little bit with Margot was just fun to read. Everything about it was too cute and stuff; as a plus another jab at Toori from the Politician. Makes sense, she doesn't like him too much anyways. (Don't get me wrong, she likes Toori as a person) I'm also getting the feeling Masazumi will never ride with Margot again. XD
