I love the cliffhanger on this piece! Coley is a hero now, willing to sacrifice his life for Artie. And Ray's going to be just fine, too. As for the last chapter, I love the scene with Jim and Artie in the end, the closeness, and the hints at the future. I can't wait to re-read the next story! It just seems to get better the more I read it. And I'm glad Ray has a big enough heart to help Coley.

I just love the way you're portraying Dr. Faustina, with her motions and everything. Poor Brutus, being the spokesperson.
I LOVE the last bit with Tennyson and the animals, and the thing about the pigeons flying around the train, not minding the guests, and they're well trained...I have an idea on what the accidents might be...

If Artie isn't fond of riding, does that mean he'll come back with a car? LOL

Was insulting the horses necessary, Coley? (I'm an avid horse lover and get really upset when people insult them.) The fireworks scene was fun to envision!

I really like the ending of this chapter. It is so beautifully done; how you described the night sky, Artie's sorrow and loneliness, the sleep and sweet oblivion...I love it!

Poor Ray! I can't imagine going through that for a year!
I wish Thomas would do something. It doesn't sound like he's really a bad guy, but the least he could do is call the police or something.

I love the exchange between Coley, Artie, and Pinto. It's so fun seeing two H.M. Wynat's together!

I must admit, I got a laugh out of the part where Sergei said Cyril was fink, and then he found he wasn't, and he said, "I must find him and apologize!" Is that all you can do after you just killed somebody? LOL
The part with the blue cloth really got to me. I could see Artie's face clearly as he picked it up.

In this chapter you do a great job at the various emotions in each scene; Artie's sorrow, pain and anger, Ray's fear and defiance, Jim's disbelief and determination. Well done! And on Cyril and Faustina, too!

Yikes, poor Ray! Portman is creepy (So Captain Caldwell was another brought back from the dead? I don't think I noticed this the first time I read this installment)

I think that the first thing that Jim and Arte should is find a way to contact the Secret Service in the 21st century. Once their ID has been confirmed, then its time to work with the Police and possibly Perry to find those who also came through time and figure a way to send them back before all of Time and Space are SERIOUSLY warped! If you REALLY need help in getting them back, have a call placed to UNIT HQ in England. I think that the Doctor would be willing to help out with this mess.

I suspect that Coley has been transported into the FUTURE! Which means that LA is going to have to deal with a person from the 1870's. Talk about Temporal Headache #1!
