Hi! I love all your stories. I was wondering if I could translate all your amazing works into Chinese and put them up on some Chinese websites?
Anyway, have a good day! :)

That's so adorable. Well, I mean, I don't have the appropriate words to describe. I just can say that I loved this story. It's so simple and, at the same time, it's very, very sentimental, delicate and sweet. So, I really loved it!

Rairakku1234 chapter 1 . 4/5/2013
'I observe the way his eyelids and his lips sometimes quiver. Maybe he's dreaming. Happy dreams, I hope. He has no nightmares when I'm with him. Two nights ago his eyes suddenly opened, he stared at me and I stopped breathing. After a few seconds he gave me a slight smile and closed his eyes again. He hadn't really woken up.'

So many things I love about this section. 1. Of course the wonderfulness of Sherlock wanting/needing to watch John in his sleep. 2. That John has fewer nightmares when his Sherlock is around. 3. That John smiled while mostly asleep after seeing Sherlock - seems like a very John reaction. :)

'I'm afraid he will.
I hope he will.'

wow just wow. What great emotion.

:) Thanks so much for sharing with us,
Rairakku

The ending 3

I actually read this as a post-Reichenbach story and mentally deleted the "I go back to my room" and "dressing gown" before I read your author's note :( The thing is I read another fic where Sherlock actually does come home one night and tries to watch John, but John wakes up and Sherlock pretends that he is a figment of John's imagination so John wouldn't freak out.

My feelings! Oh God, my feelings! This was so beautiful and heartbreaking. I am def. going to interpret this as pre-Reichenbach -_- I am not sure I could cope with this being post. Geez. Wonderful, is what I am trying to tell you.
crazycat1895 chapter 1 . 11/9/2012

Ah Chocolamousse, I only know you through your quite frankly saucy and hilarious comments on LJ. They have never failed to make me smile not only because they are warm and funny but they are also very true!

Verity told me to check this out and I am so glad I did. I am amazed by the depth, the loneliness, the longing, the hopefulness, the helplessness, it is so evocative. It reminded me instantly of Tennyson.

Tears of the widower, when he sees
A late-lost form that sleep reveals,
And moves his doubtful arms, and feels
Her place is empty, fall like these;

It's wonderful as a reader that so few words have made such a huge impression on me, Bravo my dear.

Beautiful. Pure poetry.

It's absolutely adorable.
I don't know how you've done that, but in this little fic you've made a room for a big surprise - at first I've thought it's about existing relationship, not about the longing.
Hmm... English isn't my native language, so I can't find much more synonyms for "beautiful" so easy like Verityburns:)... but I'm really moved.

I'll repeat here what I said on LJ: There's a very good sort of pain, an ache in the tummy, that you get when a story is perfect, sad, tender, and could be no other way.

This story gives me that lovely pain because in so few words you've told me nearly everything I need to know to care deeply, to feel Sherlock's longing, to, as Verity said, to make me hold my breath.

What's funny is just as I began to read my husband asked if the music he was about to put on would bother me, and usually the answer is yes, but the moment I began the first sentence I was deaf to everything else.

Chocola, you have a gift. Read your own story again. And again. Do you feel the mood you've made? Do you see how elegant the imagery? This is just the beginning I hope, the start of a long, long writing career.

I read your LJ bio just before this, where you basically wax rhapsodic that the reason you are here is because of Sherlock. I hope you continue to honor that and gift us with so much more fiction because if this is what you write when still full of doubt, good god what will you accomplish when you feel strong and bold and proud?
