Hmmm interesting idea so far, but Hermione is far too hormonal. Like to a ridiculous degree, from only some staring. I think she would have to work through at least a little hatred and disbelief before the desire distracts her. We will see, though

I'm currently reading chapter 26 and I have a question. For the basilisks, why couldn't they just have let loose a bunch of roosters so they could crow?

As much as I find the idea of a reformed Lucius Malfoy to be interesting, this story doesn't ring true. First, why would Hermione and Lucius be having unprotected sex? Second, I can't imagine that the school wouldn't expel her or him for what was going on. That just doesn't sound even remotely plausible. It would have been more plausible if he had developed an interest slowly but surely over time. Perhaps the last episode would have been the culmination. Also, when does Hermione know she's pregnant. Suddenly she's pregnant and there's no forewarning whatsoever. Also, I think that the school's reaction felt ok but just not strong enough. Again, the story has some interesting ideas but doesn't ring true at all.
