I really loved this. You did a great job with the characters. And the last chapter, Ric crying, Jeremy and the others helping, it was all just great. Very overwhelming. Alaric and Damon friendship, there is nothing like it. Oh man, why did they have to kill Ric off? Don't even get me started on that. All in all, a wonderful job done. I wonder why I never found this fanfic before now. Whatsoever, thanks for writing this one. I was kind of upset with the episode when Damon was dying...because there was no sign of Alaric. Only Elena. Sorry for mentioning Ric's death, though. I am sure I ruined your mood but I had to get it out of my system too. Sharing lessens the sorrow, right?

Like how you rearranged the events of this ep to allow everyone to have more face time. Great surprise twist at the end of this chapter.

I shall definitely be keeping an eye out for future fics - ooo, and I like the idea of the sequel. I just love torturing my favourite characters, and am always thinking up scenes were they get hurt (whether physically or emotionally). Yeah, I imagine some people would find that kinda disturbing - but I don't care, Haha.
Anyways, I'm about to head off to work now, so I just wanna say - great fanfic, keep it up :)
