I really enjoyed this. I like looking through the Sherlock section and finding fanfics involving Sherlock and minor, stand-alone characters such as Kitty. Shame there aren't more out there. I wish this one had more than just the one chapter, though. It has a very good setup for an interesting story. It was also well-written and all the characters were in-character, which is always a bonus.

Great story. I hope you might consider extending it at some point.

A good pne

This is an excellent fanfic and fits into my headcanon perfectly well. Although I prefer to have her writing for the Strand as a new job, documenting their cases in full so they can be published into book form, this is brilliant too. Going on the TV Tropes fanfic recs page very soon.

Wow. It's hard to write about Sherlock of all characters. Beautifully done, I really like it.
Sherlock is pretty emotional at the front of the story. I assume he is acting, because I do prefer Sherlock's character as a highly functioning sociopath. John's portrayal though, is quite perfect.
And it won't be much, but know that somewhere in the world, there is someone else who is currently making her way through all the Sherlock books and is in love with the series as well.
