I don't really have any reason to write a review. I just feel like I should thank you for making this. This is really beautiful. What you have done right here is to make a story about something that happened- and turned it into so much more. The one thing the cinematic in the game was lacking was this- the emotions. You write them and the story in a way that's really believable.

So I was surfing ffnet and decided to read some of your stuff, and I'm glad I chose this one.

I admit I'm totally not a fan of Lars/Alisa, but the way you portray them here is gold, just gold. It's not overly emotional and sappy, but that's what TOTALLY makes it emotional and "unforgettable," so to speak. You can sense Lars' longing, his loss, and a tortured past that isn't overtly detailed, but leaves it up to the reader to determine just how much he suffers.

This isn't like your other stuff, which is usually pretty raw and angsty (in a good way), but the restraint with which you write is perfect for the Lars/Alisa relationship.

Great job!

I love how you portray Lars, he typically represents this stoic, heroic archetype and it takes away from the potential his relationship has with Alisa in the series, but you have it perfect. She is kind and caring and considerate regardless of being robotic, and seeing Lars reciprocate that is really sweet.

This is unbelievably sweet. You have this weird way in that when you write fics that are on the long side, they seem to finish really quickly cuz the reader gets so into the story. But when you have short ones like this, you still manage to convey every emotion in that short amount of words. That's such a great writing skill.

Anyway, I always love your Lars/Alisa fics but this one is definitely near the top. I especially love: "And he doesn't forget the way her skin feels against his lips as he tells her that he will be back, and that when she's better, he will take her to dinner." So full of adorable

I really feel as if you got into the core of this relationship. The humanity you wove into Lars's personality were insightful and effective. (Seeing as some merely class him as the perfect hero.) I really, really enjoyed this.

She would forget that despite the way she is designed, she'd never hurt a thing without reason. - So Alisa.

And they fight and fight and fight, because Jin sees into his heart and thrives off his torment. - Loved this especially.

So damn lovely!
