But not as in "Mort is annoying", more like "It's so annoying that this happened. Why did this have to happen? Deep down I knew this could happen but I chose to ignore it cause nothing like this has happened before. And now I have to admit things I didn't want to admit and change my ways. Uuuughh. But... at least Mort is ok. That makes up for everything."

... what if he hadn't been ok, though? Would Maurice forgive him? Would Julien forgive himself...? Would that change him completely...?

yup like skipper julian dosent show his soft side, buts its there! the 2 epis u sighted are perfect examples. another good one is from the epi operation antartica [yeah my spelling is bad lol] when he made a 'snow mort' kicked it then laid down next to where it was & said: 'but serously i miss him' then kissed that spot of the ice. cute & weird, just like out fave ringed tail, am i right?!

Mort: Yay! King Julien loves me!
Julien: I do not!
Me: Yes, you do!
Julien: No, I...I tolerate him.
Mort: *hugs Julien's feet* It is close enough.
Julien: *kicks Mort off*

I don't think anything would happen to Mort if he was hit by a car in the actual show. I mean look at all the stuff that happens to him in the show! Thus is a good story still.

Aww, this was so sweet. No-one was out of character, and it seemed just what everyone would do in that kind of situation. Great work!

Yes, a bit OOC, but Julien had shown concern for both Mort and Maurice's welfare more than once.
