Awww! This was so sweet, I think it gave me a couple cavities! ;) Honestly though, this was so cute. Cassie so tongue-tied around Kon...I'm guessing this took place during the five-year gap? It seems like that's the only time that makes sense.

I'm also a bit of a fan of present tense (because I tend to use it a bit too) which put the icing on the cake, or the chocolate on the strawberry, as it were. It fit the story perfectly.

Also, the lowercase title. Reminiscent of e.e. cummings, which...it actually fits the story, in a way. I'm not sure I can explain it.

Let's hope this is the reason Cassie isn't so awkward around Kon...
