Wow.. U should REALLY continue this!

Absolutely amazing story! It's been so long since I've been active on FFN and even longer since I've read an actual story and this was a great way to get back into it. Nivanfield is like my OTP these days and you have such an epic way of writing them. I mean, I just got out of basic training - aside from things like being warm, my family, and a full night of sleep (also not living in constant fear lol), I REALLY missed FFN.

This story is really... Gosh, I don't even have words. It's just so perfect. And it's been a while since you've updated. I hope you will again, soon. For the soldiers? lol.

That first little mention of MREs got me so good, too (I'm in the perfect place for that line, dude - AIT. When I get to Camp Bullis in July I'll be living off those gross little things for two weeks). I was like, "I eat those!" And it got me super excited lol.

Although they do kind of suck. They all have like 1,500 calories because they're designed for people that eat like twice a day in a combat zone and we used to eat them in BCT when all we did was PT like once a day and maybe get smoked occasionally. I gained so much fucking weight.

I mean, I can run and PT and stuff now, but sooooo much weight. I have to start calorie counting again, as soon as I PCS after I graduate my 68w training.

But I digress...

That first little chunk of the first chapter left me so confused for a second (I'm always confused now, though). I was like "shit, dude. Piers CANNOT be with some woman." And normally I hate when writers do that at all, for any reason, but you've amazed me again and pulled it off. It added so much for such a little part. I actually liked it. Not as much as that second part, though. The one where Chris pulls Piers out of the water? Yeah, that shit was awesome.

And then that THIRD little part? God. I wish I could write like that. I would die happy. It was just so descriptive, which is only all the more amazing considering there was all that DIALOGUE. You don't even know. I tried so hard to stay up after lights out last night to keep reading, but I'm in a bay with like 80 other females and I didn't want to be super rude with all the crazy light coming from my phone. (I should have. Forty percent of them are going to fail out of this course. We don't need sleep :p)

And the thing in the second chapter about the sutures? Wow. So much wow. There are just little things about this story that totally MAKE the entire thing. I'm absolutely in love.

I was also seriously excited to see Claire, which normally I'm not, but that's just you again. Where the hell is Jill? She's make it even perfect-er (if that was a word, I would have perfect-er grammar. Drill Sergeants ruined me. Like every day, "Move more quicklier! More quicklier!" I'm just like, "That isn't even a word, Drill Sergeant...")

The third chapter was fucking awesome, too. I must have read it in like three minutes (read:forever) which was awesome and depressing at the same time because I don't want it to be over.

And now I just want them to bang. Like, just get naked and have angst sex. But, you know, I did write that one PWP... The naked stuff is half the reason I write, I think. lol.

But so, update soon! I check my e-mail every day after POI!

You seriously make ME want to spend my hour or two of personal time a day writing some serious Nivanfield. I'm going to lol.

And so, captain-tots, write more quicklier :)

I honestly think this is one of the best stories I have ever read. Your writing is simply perfect and interesting :) I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTERS! :D

This is a fantastic story so far! I'm really enjoying your take on everything. From Piers in the hospital (Oh good Lord, you just filled that chapter with all sorts of gory details, didn't you?) to Chris and Piers' relationship before hand.

You've actually done something I haven't seen before and hadn't really considered. Chris is seemingly the 'gay' one. Piers was in a relationship and hasn't really portrayed any sexual feelings towards Chris. I usually think of it the other way around, but you've done a fantastic job of it this way. Poor Chris, having unrequited feelings for Piers. That'll change eventually. Regardless, you do a wonderful job keeping them in character and your story details are amazing.

I'm so sad you've only posted three chapters! It's such a good story and I'm so sad I've caught up ( and all during my super boring geography class)! I suppose I'll have to wait until you update. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens! I really like how you write Chris and Piers. They're very in character! And I love how Chris is in denial about it all! Poor guy. Anyway, update really soon!

Ps: your description of Chris' apartment, yah, stop describing my apartment. Because that is exactly what it looks like.

That would definately suck to wake up somewhere and be completely unaware of where you were or what condition you were in. Poor Piers. I'm glad Chris will be getting to see him soon!

This is wonderful. This is wonderful, and it can't stop here. Please, I am begging you, continue this. Writing of this caliber is hard to find on any part of the web. I sincerely hope that there's more to come here, and I look forward to reading more of your work in the future :)

This is an amazing story! I really like the repressive dynamics of Chris' interpretation of his relationship with Piers.

Chris is regreting his decision. But isn't what he regreting is what he been wanting. Or am I totally misreading this somehow. Maybe he just to use to seeing as a kid.

I look forward to reading more of this! I love your writing style and they don't feel out of character at all. Keep up the good work!
