That was incredible, Yumi's detachment, her perspective on it, the scene and mood were set perfectly and the language was powerful and evocative.

That was moving.

A great set up and execution, I loved her approach and attitude, that ending though, wow, grim, and impressive.

This prompt is great. It's something that you never really think about but it's a really great idea. I wish more people wrote about how their multiple trips into the past affected them. It's a great idea and I'm really happy to have been able to read this.

This is basically perfect and possibly my favourite so far besides the YumixSissi one, because NO ONE WRITES ENOUGH ABOUT KIWI and he's a really fascinating element within the show, and this is absolutely something I can see happening. I adore this.

ARGH YES, THIS TRAIN OF THOUGHT RAISES SO MANY POSSIBLITIES RE; WHAT -REALLY- HAPPENS WITH THE RETURNS TO THE PAST (a continual source of fascination to me) and just, YES.

This one is so stark and poignant, it's just one of those little moments that really hits home. I really like how you write the scene, you paint this quick portrait of the car/street/general chaos but it's just a backdrop really, to this really sudden unfolding thought process. It works really well.

UGH MY FEELS.

There is something so much -darker- implied in Odd's home life and this, this just resonates with me a lot for a number of reasons, and I love your perspective on this idea. Especially "The more incredulous the story, the more he jokes about it," - just shows how his humour has become this coping mechanism for the worst things. So much intensity in a few lines ;_;

This is so excellent in how it showcases how wonderfully seamless Odd and Ulrich's friendship is. I love the references to their little rituals and how well they know each other ("When Ulrich was really upset, he'd start pacing back and forth and snapping at Odd's most hilarious comments, or he'd end up out on the soccer field until curfew forced him inside, and one time he got into a growling match with Kiwi that actually had Odd a little worried for his diggity dog") and how in-tune they are with one another's temperaments.

And, well, poor Ulrich. XD

I love fics of the group just being normal kids and doing silly, teenager-y things and this is lovely. Aelita would really like gummy bears I think? PERFECT CHOICE. and I love how easily Jérémie falls into the role of exasperated parent despite being the youngest.

This just makes me smile.

I love Sissi's abrupt tone, I kind of get the feeling she's so matter-of-fact to hide any nerves she has over the whole 'approaching Yumi to be friends' thing, and it's so entirely what she would do. I also love this line "Oh, live a little, Ishiyama," Sissi snaps. "Pick me up here tomorrow at four in the afternoon. And bring sunglasses." for how much Sissi casually treats it as a date, and the image of both of them rocking huge sunglasses.

BASICALLY THIS IS ADORABLE and sets the stage for an awesome relationship between these two, and it's everything I ever wanted in terms of their interactions and how they complement each other. 3
