i just found this be accident when i was researching dissidia and found the tifa/kain connection. i know that this has gone on hiatus.. but it is well written, fleshed out and very intriguing. thank you. i do hold hope you may upload the finished chapters, but alas with many of the best fanfiction i've read, it may end incomplete.

Is it bad that I can actually hear in my mind, Liam O'Brien delivering that "Shakespeare is renaissance " line with that annoyed 'you're an idiot' tone he does so very well? I actually said those exact words before I read Kain's reply and just about wheezed myself to death laughing.

I return to this story after reading it again for the 100th time, and realizing I have never left a review to say how much I love this fic. Because I'm an idiot. I particularly love your characterizations of Tifa and Lightning, and the way you've built up their friendship. I know it's been a couple of years now, but I still look for updates. This remains my favorite final fantasy fic, and I can't wait for you to finish it. I really do love it.
