So sweet!

This was a perfect fic to describe Sara and Grissom after he returned from his sabbatical. There was an estrangement between them because of the way he left so suddently without discussing it with her (typical Grissom!), yet we know when he returned he was VERY happy to see her even though she had just come in from a garbage dump. So, your "take" on things that could have happened between them following Keppler's death was spot-on.

Sara Grissom indeed (even though she's still "Sidle" on her CSI vest, even after several years of marriage.). But, she's a Grissom now, and that's all that matters.

That was excellent! Such a simple plot, yet because it was so beautifully done, it made it something more. I wonder if Sara made it Grissom on the show, but goes by Sidle because Grissom would confuse people at work...at first I though you were going to have them talk about what GSR stood for lmao :D
