This was probably the cutest one shot I've ever read! Loved the connection between child!Nanao and child!Shunsui. I knew they had a connection way before their official meet when she joined the squad. It's such a shame Kubo didn't expand on their relationship more or their past. I feel like we need more of these too, and if there was to be a 'real' relationship couple in the manga, it would be them.

Seriously though, I loved this. And the fact Nanao was Shunsui's first kiss makes their relationship even more special. Your character development and concrete detail was spot on. I felt interacted with the scenes the whole way though. You kept your tone and emotion well based and simple. Truly a gem right here.

That was definetly one of my favorites fics of yours, it was really cute, so like them and I liked the idea of Nanao bonding with Katen Kyōkotsu
Great fic, congrats, and I hope you''l keep writing on those two for a looong time ;)

So cute! This is a really interesting concept, giving Katen Kyokotsu the ability to bend dimensions. And doing something like this is very like her, from what we know of her temperamental nature. I also like how you involved some of the darker implications of Katen's power with how worried Shunsui was.
Anyway, little Shunsui and little Nanao were simply adorable. They're so innocent and cute, haha. Especially with regards to the girlfriend-boyfriend thing and kissing (Lisa, don't corrupt little children!).
And the ending scene was really sweet, particularly in how it mirrored the childhood scene but at the same time showed that many things have changed.

You write the sweetest stories! I love this pairing, and I like the fact that Nanao is conscious of Shunsui's darker side and loves all of him regardless. It was nice seeing them as kids.

Wow. True story. Honestly when I think of "one-shots" I think short stories. xD Probably because most of the ShunxNana one-shots I've read in the past were relatively short. And good thing I'm up to date with the latest manga events. What you wrote about Shunsui and Nanao meeting as kids in what seems like another world and later revealing how it apparently really happened really would work well with the events in ch. 511. I wish Kubo would implement something like that! Mah man could finally use some insight into his past, along with his relationship towards Yamamoto.
