Very interesting take. Obviously large companies will have stakes in the stargate and that will mean lots of development and exploitation for the world the stargates leads to. Definitely different then a US military only operation.

Found it through the link at DLP, and I quite liked it. I don't think there's enough yet to give it a rating, but so far it seems pretty good, and I've always loved the stories where the author meshes Sci-Fi tech with the fandom's tech.
