Poor Neal. Unfortunately for him, I really love Neal whump, so I quite enjoyed this chapter. Just a note on the formatiing, though: In the previous chapter you put the scenes that happened at the prison (i.e., Neal's memories/flashbacks) in italics, but in this chapter everything at the prison was in the same normal style as the scenes taking place in the present. I found it a bit confusing, since it made it seem like Neal was...well, confused, and thought he was back at the prison while he was taking a shower. But then, the Burkes would have come running to check on him when he shouted for help. Or, perhaps it was intentional? After all, Elizabeth wants to talk to him about *something*...like, perhaps weird noises he made while in the shower?

I guess I'll have to wait until next chapter to find out. I can't wait!

Poor Neal. I loved the Neal whump, though. And seeing how Peter, El, and now apparently Diana as well are trying to figure out what's wrong and help him. I can't wait to read more!

I'm both excited and scared for what comes next. You have a great way of pulling the reader in, connecting them to your story. I kinda feel like Peter, I both want to know what happened to Neal and I don't want to know.

Aaaahh! Poor Neal. I wasn't expecting anyone other than the warden to be directly involved in hurting him. I hope Peter, Diana & Jones find out.

I'm so glad to see this chapter. I really appreciate the pacing and your developing the emotional struggle that will ultimately betray Neal despite his efforts to deny it. It will make that moment all the more powerful, so until then I'm content to go along for the ride. Thanks.
