   pearlydewdrop chapter 21 . 6/12 I lovd your characterisation of Patrick in this chapter. I like how you have imagined him as a man of simpler tastes, in comparison to his father and Robert. I feel like he could have done rather well keeping Downton afloat during the fall of the aristocracy. Definitely an intruiging thought... Also, I like how you have him rather love sick about Mary and still cognisant of Edith's affections. All this unrequited love going around! |

Particularly interesting is how you’re presenting the relationship between Mary and Anna who seems not only a big sister type but almost a pseudo Mother. Continuing this through S1 of canon would be most interesting as you have a knack for giving us insights on the thoughts of each of the sisters. So, please continue with this delightful story. At least we have wifi in the 21st Century! You have done such a good job of developing the girl's personalities. I really like the Anna and Mary relationship! Because your writing is so wonderful, I'd enjoy scenes from the series, kind of "behind the music" as it were. I'd like Mary's thoughts during the sea monster conversation, whether Edith really liked Matthew or just didn't want Mary to get him, and Sybil's early thoughts about Tom. Thank you! |
