This fic made me so sad. I cried. This fic looks deep into the heart where people can rarely see. When I first read this fic, I couldn't understand the depression. Now, when I come back 10 1/2 years later, after losing my mom and dad, it really shines as one of the best fanfics I have ever read. The way that Sonic holds onto the memories, is really what I went through when my mom and dad died. When he finally realizes that Tails is no longer with him, he already knows that it was too late. The ending was really touching for me. The way that Sonic knows that his time is up, only just after he lets go, really makes this fic come full circle for me. The final part is really touching, in the way that Sonic finally comes back to where he belongs, with Tails. The final three words really are true;

Heroes Never Die.

... No words can express how amazingthis story is. It was just fantastic and wonderful and I loved it from beginningto end. I one day hope I can create a story like this and I hope I will never forget this story.

A very touching story. Almost made me cry. I think you did a beautiful job with this story since you managed to get a reaction from your audience. You used feelings very well.

There were a few typos here and there, as well as some small mistakes. You might want to read this over and correct them. Other than that I truly enjoyed this story.

I have added this fic to my favorite stories list as although it's quite short, it doesn't really need to be any longer as it fits in a lot of emotion and great descriptions throughout. I don't think I really have any critisisms but if I HAD to pick one, I would say that maybe you could have written a little about the run up to Tails' death-like what exactly happened to him. That's just a thought and it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the story at all-I just like to try and offer a review that has at least one thing for the author to think about as opposed to just saying: "OMG THAT WAS AMAZING! YOU ROCK!" etc because although that IS nice to hear, (I'm an author myself) it's not particularily constructive if you get what I mean? Thanks for a great story!

This story is so good. I couldn't stop crying though and I was reading about quarter to 6 in the morning, and I made my pj's sleeve soaking wet! I would hate to see ANYBODY killed off of the games though, it just wouldn't be the same. My new motto is Heroes never die!
