I think I got the father coming back from crazy ville part. :) Didn't think it was romantic though. hahaha, I like the story.

if the crown broke he would die from these various reasons-

1. he will suddenly age
2. the crowns power being ripped out of someone would kill therm
3. if the crown broke the crown would take simon down with it.
4. The crown protects him from radation and he might die.
also if he does die the crown would freeze the world.

Well... Simon as Marceline knew him was older, had a short beard, and white hair. I don't think he'd return all the way back into human unless he had the crown off for a few years at the least. But this was a nice story for them

Honestly, that one scene here. This should be here. Gives me a whole new friggin respect for the Ice king. Though for the record, the transformation would not only take a long time to transfer him back in the normal mind set, but might also kill him in the long run since it was the crown's magic that made him immortal.

I just saw that episode yesterday! I loved it and I love how they managed to make the Ice King's character more deep. :)

I think your story was nice, even if it was short. I'm writing a story where Ice King turns back into Simon. I wouldn't recommend reading it though since it's a yaoi (boyxboy), but I do recommend reading Simon Petrikov by yapook. It's REALLY good and it's not a yaoi so you don't need to worry about that.

Er, his crown has been off before but it's not had the same effect...Nice story though.
