Fantastic, I loved it!

Oh this is so sweet. A delightful, everyday conversation you created. as they both are working to figure out the other, as I think they are realizing there is something special they have between them. In a very subtle way, I think they are each thinking... this is a whole lot more than either of them have had before...the give and take is so easy and natural...it just feels right.
Now, both are smart people with fairly large egos, so they are both demanding of the other...and I think each is coming to think in those terms.
And the line where he think's that Kate thinks she is low maintenance...is hilarious. Kate Beckett is the very definition of high maintenance. But I sense Castle senses this and knows he needs, wants to, in fact give her the attention she quietly requires. Your story is a sweet glimpse into these two trying to understand, and enjoy, each other. Wow, can the future together really be as good as it looks from here? :-)

This is one of my favorite of your fics. I think I've read it about five times. It's such a nice continuation of the domesticity in that episode. I really like seeing what Castle and Beckett are like in the mundane parts of their lives that we don't get to see on the show.

One of things that I love about your stories are that it doesn't matter how many times you have read it, you can still have the same feelings as the very first time. Cute chapter! A nice glimpse of the two of them learning how to be a couple. Sweet how Kate had the countdown clock on her desktop for the day and how she was willing to share this information with him - so many new facets to their relationship! Thank you for sharing the ride home with us!
