I am a year late and is only on chapter 22 but Shinji is getting to close to Rei for my liking.

The idea to write a timeline for each story is really good. Now it's easier to read and put them in context with the original series.

Well, this was a pleasant surprise. It does say something about a writer when they actually have a specific chain of events for their story. It adds something cinematic to it.

You left put the epilogue, but I think there's a reason for that.

Finally completed reading this and also your notes on top of it. It was an absolutely wonderful piece of work and reading your notes on it you can really see throughout it from the very first part through to this the amount of passion and hard work you have put into it. It was an absolute privilege to read through it all and I'm glad I did.

Something I really enjoyed was the introduction and references to everything from the EvaVerse. You managed to bring it all together in a way that made sense and didn't feel forced. I will admit I was worried about the introduction of Mari but it was handled very well and you shone a good light on her character.

In addition the new characters you introduced from the twins through to their supporting cast. It all meshed together and didn't at one point feel forced or out of place. I really found myself caring for the characters and their plight.

I've mentioned it before too but dialogue was very strong throughout this. Your group discussions were ideal.

There is so much praise I can place upon this but I'd only be echoing what I've said in previous reviews but this was a fantastic piece, a true epic and will now be one of the first fics I'd recommend people to read when they ask. I know you've done one additional story thus far but I'd love to see more from this universe.

Thank you for this work. Also on a side note, it's rare a fic affects me emotionally but a few chapters in this really managed it.

Poor Asuka in this chapter. Really powerful last couple of chapters, around the party I did get the feeling that things were perhaps going a bit too good for our cast. Sure they had been in danger but they were mostly managing to pull through and continue to build those relationships, so there was a definite calm before the storm feeling. Just didn't expect it to completely fall apart in the way it did.

I'm very intrigued by this 'Kaworu' you have introduced along the way. I wonder if this version, much like Rei has any ties to previous versions or if it is entirely new. Again very good handling of the relationships here. Asuka is handling it all as we would expect, what I don't know is how Rei will handle it. She has developed so much by this point, there must be a significant amount of conflict within her right now.

I'm hoping to have the rest of this read by the end of the week but this particular part has gone from strength to strength. Really good stuff going on here.

I really enjoyed this chapter, I'm sure you've seen from my other fics but I've got a real thing for the idea of the pilots enjoying being out in the snow. Probably comes from a few scenes in the manga and the original plan for EoE to have the MP Scene against a snowy backdrop.

So this one was perfect for me, Asuka snowboarding, the kids having a snowball fight, it was just wonderful. It's really nice to see scenes like that where they can just enjoy being kids. Of course as is part the course for Eva happiness doesn't always last for very long. I kinda had a feeling it was going to go south but I didn't expect the pilots to be attacked, I was if anything expecting it to be Kaji who is attacked.

Thought this was a really well done chapter, the continuation of Rei's development continues to really impress me. You're really developing her at a good pace that feels just right. It was hard to read that discussion between her and Patrick, yet in context of her it made complete sense that she would do that. Her own insecurities over what she is coming into the light, her knowledge that she is not completely human and that she feels she cannot form the same connections with others that she sees.

I'm really looking forward to seeing that progress and how it evolves past this point.

Again as I've mentioned before I feel you handle the developments between the relationships of the characters really well.

It goes without saying but the overarching plot regarding the Alliance Vs Seele is handled well too. You balance the action with the building of the relationship and mysteries very well. I was impressed with the scene before hand where Shinji/Asuka took on the harpies. As always looking forward to progressing through this further and seeing how it all pans out.

Even after all this time on this site I still haven't found a story that's nearly as great as yours. You truly have a gift for this and I can't wait to see your next stories in the future. Thank you so much for allowing us to read this amazing story and again I can't wait to see what you're next stories will be like.

I just wanted to say that I've read this series and I've loved it. It's great, and one of the few cases where Rei's character development is realistic. It's been really nice to read something where the Shinji/Asuka couple isn't the main focus (not that I mind. I'm a fan of that couple. It's just nice to read something different, once in a while). I've been trying to find the right words to describe how much of an impact your writing has had on me but I seem to always fall short. Your story that you've created really is beyond beautiful.
So all I can say is thank you. I'm currently graduating high school and am being forced to plan out my future. The only thing that I have always known was that I have always wanted to write great stories, but lately I've been doubting myself and well... I almost considered stoping. But thanks to your gorgeous story, I know that I can't quit on what I love.

omg so happy and so sad at the same time, a fitting ending in my opinion to an amazing story, as many who read this story, I wish this could be turned into an anime or even a manga; for now I thank you for this wonderfull AU to my favorite anime of all time, I wish you the best with anything you do in life, and to anyone who is looking for something to read don't be fooled by the number of reviews this story is great in every sense of the word.

Wow, this much planning was used while making this story. I truly think that, if it's what you want to do, go forward with your plans. Also, focus on what you think is best to focus on. Friendly tip: if people write reviews and mention the same problem more than once, you need to fix it. Otherwise, what you want to write is usually accepted. Don't adhere to other reviewers, because you're not writing about their respective ships. Write what YOU want to write, and make it good like this one. The pieces fall in line easily after that.
