This was such a sweet chapter - James really is such a darling, it's no wonder Shepard can't help but fall for him.

Very cute second chapter. I wish there was some background to this fic, some build up that shows how Shep got to this stage with Vega. There a lot of intensity, and I love it, but I would have loved more of this early stuff.

I absolutely love this story. Personally I think you got James' personality spot on. I don't see a guy like him breaking down into tears like a few of these other Mshega fics portray him. He'll where his heart on his sleeve but he'll maintain some control of his emotions.

I love Kaidan to death but as a romance option I'll hop on James in a heartbeat. He may not smooth talk you like Garrus or be sweet & romantic like Kaidan but I see him generally more laid back and a constant shelter from any storm.

I can't wait for the next chapter. Hopefully they can at least sit down and talk without arguing. When they finally get back together (or if) James can show him some of...N7 training. I'm sure he's learned a lot of new things to keep Admiral Shepard...off his feet or on his feet...against the wall or table or car lol.
