How weird I could have sworn that this didn't have the pairing! Completely disregard that part of my last review. Its 1am and I woke up at 6 am yesterday. I really need to sleep but wanted to finish this first!

Wow I'm really liking what I'm reading! It took you 4 years to pick this up again! Gives me hope for all the great abandoned fanfics out there! I really love what a great team they are! I don't know why you don't have more reviews. I'm the type of person that doesn't like to leave reviews. I'm the type to quietly appreciate . But when a fics good I review I really hope you get to finish this one. I recommend putting this as a katara and zuko pairing so more people can find it under the filter. I was just causally looking at all the fics under avatar the last airbender without filters, when I found yours. I usually just do the katara and zuko pairing filter and look from there. This is probably the longest review I have ever written so bye and love you haha hope that doesn't sound weird.

What an amazingly cool idea! I love your writing style so much! Though the Jet thing, while a really cool take on him, still confuses me a bit. Though I'm sure you've got this planned out or thought through. I hope you update quicker than four years cause I'm very excited to read more :)

I just downed all four chapters in one go, and I must say this fic is absolutely fantastic.

You had me thoroughly intrigued by the first chapter. It's completely believable for Zuko to fail at redirecting his father's lightning, and so he ends up imprisioned. Katara has a big heart, no matter how much she might despise the Fire Nation, and I find it perfectly acceptable for her to succumb to Jet's false pleas and aid him, only to be utterly tricked.

And that lead up to a cliche and overused Zutara plot: the two of them trapped together, hence forming a situation where they can 'bond'.

But you handle it quite differently, and amazingly so. Every line interests me more and the plot is so well-crafted and polished I can't help but fall in love with its shine. You really have me hooked, I must say. Especially with the way you've woven a veil of mystery around Jet's motives, background, and figure. He used to hate the Fire Nation, remember, and I have a feeling our favourite duo will encounter him again.

Both Zuko and Katara's personalities are spot on. He's determined to prove that his loyalty lies on 'the good side', as he calls it. She is very reluctant to be persuaded, doubtful to trust him; and understandably so. I'm glad, though, for the fact that she's relishing in the small amount of comfort Zuko seems to be giving her in her otherwise lonely world. Hopefully she will learn to forgive him, and that their relationship will gradually progress into romantic over time.

I can't wait to read the continuation of this story, and I'm hoping this review will spur you to post another chapter. Just know that I'll be waiting. :)
