I do hope you get to update soon! I've recently fallen in love with this! I usually like Bristel but of course, just not here. Hmm...the best I can think of is some confrontation between Gale and Bristel? Or about the negotiation? :D

Frankly speaking my imagination is not so good to be giving advices, but still. I don't know, maybe you shouldn't prolong it too much, the mayor is a good man after all and I'm sure they'll be able to come to an agreement. If he sees that his daughter supports the idea. What's important is for Gale not to get under are people in teh mines and tehy should act ASAP.
I hope you'll continue it after all, I really love the story!

I actually don't feel bad for madge. Sorry if that makes me a terrible person, but I actually feel bad for Bristel. Sure she might be consumed with jelously, but how would you feel if your crush just decided to wander off with some blond idiot. You would honestly feel pretty bad and become pretty insecure at the same time doubting yourself why he chose her and not you.

For some reason this line makes me smile. He's such a sweeite- "I can't kiss you now," he whined... Don't worry, Gale, you can kiss her all you want soon enough!

I love how Madge didn't want to give up on those kisses. "gentle" ;-D

Can't wait for more of Gale's comfort.

Loved the conversations between Madge and Thom. And of course, love the Gale/Madge moment more than anything else. Glad Madge is tough!

I got confused with Madge was trying to do...it seemed there were things she wanted to say that she didn't...couldn't because she didn't want her father to know she was on their side...but then it seemed that's exactly what she did.

Madge was a total badass right there! HAHA loved that! And Gale asdfghjkl my freakin awesome Gale. for Bristel... idk what to say. But I kind of feel bad for her. I mean, she witnessed her crush (is it?) literally kissing and falling in love with the girl she despises... I can only imagine how it feels like.
