Awesome fic. I loved everything about it- literally everything. I wish there were more fics like this one.

As always, your character interaction was by far the strongest part of your writing. I especially enjoyed the dynamic between Dusty and Damien.

Your development of Dusty as an OC was also a pleasure to read.

I have to be honest though, I thought there were a couple of issues in your plot progression this time around. Dick specifically mentions how Clarke's profile suggests that he wouldn't hurt a child, but then is suprised when the guy trys to talk Moore out of hurting Dusty? Dusty's powers specifically involve heat and flame but they choose J'onn to teach him when fire is a Martians main fear and weakness? Just little things like that that didn't make total sense to me.

In no way trying to be overcritical or discouraging...just something to think about.

On another note...is there any chance that you might be working on another Nightwing/Dresden Files story? You write the first person POV from the Dresden Files very well and I always look forward to reading it.

YAY! But poor Dick, he's been shot in the shoulder. That's going to keep him out for weeks, but at least he'll have his son. Looks like Dusty is going to be home schooled from now on.

Awwww... dusty's first kidnapping... poor baby. Well, I have a feeling Dick will learn more of Bruce's stoic tricks soon enough. P

Dick needs consoling. He needs Bruce to hold him and to reassure him. He trusts Bruce . . . even as Batman but he needs to be able to cry out his pain and fear.
