Wow. so I've been through the courtship of Lady Tokio and obviously didn't have engough.
I am amazed at the amount of work you have done to render this so lively. I feel like I've taken a plunge into Japan.
Please, never stop writing ! The historical facts, the every day life, I have learnt so much about this period of history thanks to you. If this was not a fandom, You'd probably be published and praised as much as the lady from the Outlander series.
I'm a fan of your work. You made me laugh, you made me cry. It was extraordinary. I have a mind to print this and bind it to put in my personal library. This is how much I love and respect your work.

What more can one add? As a fanfic writer myself, I absolutely love your writing. You have invested so much time and research and love for the characters and it really comes out in your writing. It's beautiful and wonderful and has given me so much joy in a time where I am facing so much grief.

Thank you so much for what you have written. I know real life interferes with fandom activities and things must be set aside. Just know though, that your efforts are not unappreciated. These stories you have written are brilliant and seeing form other's reactions, they are well beloved and fully worth it!

I am incredibly happy that I came across your stories. The attention to detail and the research shows in your work and it’s absolutely beautiful! Since the continuation of the Rurouni Kenshin manga I’ve found myself sucked back into the RK universe and I’m glad I found your stories especially with how significant Hokkaido seems to be in the new continuation. Your stories have helped provide and a lot of background info that has really been a joy to learn. Your characterizations have been spot on! I’ve enjoyed seeing this beloved story seem like new again through the eyes of Saito and Tokio and various other characters and It’s been a joy to read the snippets of the main Kenshin-gumi as well in those in-between major moments of the manga, like when kenshin is thinking to himself in the carriage ride. Saitos interaction with him in that moment was amazing! I know it’s been a couple of years since you’ve updated but I sincerely hope you find the time to continue! We need something to hold us over while we wait for those manga updates!

I have been a big RK fan for years, but just stumbled back into fandom and fanfic after finding the live action films. Finding this story (and the Courtship of Lady Tokio) has been an absolute joy. I know it has been quite a while since an update, but hopefully someday soon you will stumble back in yourself, and continue this fantastic story!P.S. you have no reason to be worried about your characterization of the beloved RK group. You're spot on!

You become in love with a story just to discover that the writer never ended it and the last chapter was posted 4 years ago ... :(

Are going to continue writing this story? There are so few Saitou x Tokio stories (even fewer stories that are written well) that it would be a shame for this story not to be completed. I am really enjoying this and hope you continue. :-)

Thank you for this series and all the hard work you've put into it. I, hypocritically, don't often invest time into reading longer stories, but I'm really glad I did for yours. First, the foundation of research you've put into making this historically accurate (or as much as possible) is admirable. I feel as if I've taken a course in Boshin War history haha. Second, I really love the care with which you've illustrated the characters' individual voices and how their stories interweave and push together to yield the characters as we begin to know them in Rurouni Kenshin. I think you did great justice to Watsuki's characterizations and gave enormous - and accurate, in my opinion - depth to Saito, who has steadily become my favorite character in the series.

My family is Korean and Japanese, so it's been wonderful hearing the voice of another Asian woman. The attention to detail you've placed on customs and the like is refreshing and unfortunately unusual, despite the source material, and I think you contemplate the virtues and subtleties of the culture beautifully. Something about the nuances of the customs at the time adds meaning to the relationships and interactions between the characters, so I really appreciate how much attention you've paid to adhering to them.

Finally, I've spent the past few days just thinking about your story after finishing it, and it's happily made me reevaluate (and regret) some of my own writing. I'll probably come back and reread it again soon and take the lessons I've learned from reading your story as I move forward in my own work. Thank you again for the wonderful story! I see you don't update often, but I hope to see you update again soon. I'm looking forward to it!

This series is all of my dreams come true. I spent all of Yae no Sakura freaking out about crossover characters with Rurouni Kenshin, and now I've finally found someone who has watched both! Fun fact: the mangaka of Yae no Sakura actually used Saito from RK as the model for Tokio's husband. Hilarious since the actor who portrayed him in YnS is short and cute.

This is by FAR the best story I've seen involving Tokio and Saito. It does a wonderful job in their characters and interactions, and I adore the reasoning and thoughts behind his canonical actions.

This story is magnificent. The utterly wonderfully realistic and yet loving relationship, the fascinating and believable characterization, the great details, it's awesome.

Well, actually, I think you do the best job of realistically giving Saito's thoughts and opinions of Kenshin. They are enormously different men, and react totally differently. Love your stuff! :)

Another awesome chapter from you :) I keep re-reading CLT when I feel the need for a dose of SaitoxTokio. It's kinda funny how Kenshin seems interested in Saito's private life and how Saito was irritated by Kenshin's probing. Such nice, strange relationship they have :) I wonder what would happen if and ever Kaoru and Tokio would meet xD

Graduate school does consume you ne. I can totally relate. It takes away your time and energy, and everything else .
