I enjoyed this a lot. They are actually my favorite pairing. I am not that big a fan of Chitanda for some reason. But I loooove the other three and Mayaka and Satoshi pairing is too cute for to to resist! ️️️

Love them both. Plus I really like the way you resolved Satoshi's extreme desire to run away from his problems. It's so annoying! But I really like Satoshi. He's amazing.

Hello! This was beautifully written, I must say. There are some times when I feel it is merely good, not wonderful, or perhaps a little cringeworthy or awkward; but these moments are few and far between, really. And they could just be a matter of personal preferences.

Overall, it was a splendidly cohesive and complete piece, faithful to the original; yet daring to explore far beyond what the anime (or manga; sorry, I don't read manga. Or light novels, for that matter) had ever offered. I adore Satoshi and Mayaka, too; and I have to give the producers props, since I never once even considered Maya and Hotarou, or Satoshi and Chi-chan as couples. Neither has anybody else, as far as I can tell, and that is quite rare.

I recently watched Hotarubi no Mori e (I think that's how it's spelt), or something like Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light. It's a 45 minute animated film, and is quite lovely. Perhaps if you haven't watched it, you can give it a try?

Your love for this couple can be felt throughout this fic. It definitely surpassed my expectations. Hyouka was one of my favorite last year's series, not only because it's my favorite genre, but also for the main 4, who I like very much as characters. Mayaka was my favorite, she is so interesting in so many levels.

Ps. You won me over when you mentioned Sherlock Holmes and Christie. Pure bliss there.
