One thing I know for sure about this story is that, Kaito speaks/narrates/talks like a robot built by engineers from ancient Greece. A living robot. And it's in a first pov too. Yeah. Kaito was a living dead and Shinichi was a walking corpse. This should be an angst or something. Good plot though.

Waaah, I am in love with this story. *Hearts hearts hearts* Wow, Kid really sounds so unemotional. He must be really broken. And this 'I want pain cuz it makes me forget shit and I love pain' is starting to make me depressed. Kid, you adorable little masochist.(Wait...that doesn't sound right at all lol)

And of course Shinichi would be the one to find him. If Hakuba stopped being such a prick, he might've helped and I would love to see Heiji help out (I kinda ship HeiKai)

That part with the painkiller is killing me (sad sad pun) He doesn't want to eat the painkiller cuz not feeling any pain is no fun. WTH I am so (argghh don't know the word) I don't know whether to slap him for being so emo or just cry at the sadness of this all. You really bring out the targetted emotions in this story :) Truly skilled K.M

I spotted a few grammar mistakes. They're minor but I'm am OCD even though I make hundreds more in my stories. "I push the door on to my them" should it be "I push the door onto them."? And "They 'no one gets hurt'" should be "The 'no one gets hurt'" Sorry for being annoying ' I'll stop if you ask.

Oh crap, he smacks Shinichi in the face with the door even with a chest wound, arm wound and leg wound. Boss, man, boss. That no one gets hurt thing at the end gave me chills. SO excited to see what happens next

Wow. This is wonderful. ;A; *crying from happiness* Yeah when he mentioned that he killed, I was really shocked and thought he actually did kill people until I found out he meant figuratively. Still very sad, losing Aoko figuratively, and Chikage and Jii for real.

I'm not sure if you intended for it to sound this way or was it just me but I love how the whole narrated chapter sounds so monotonous. Things are happening but I get the feeling that Kid's just telling it and not feeling anything at all about it. Poor thing, he really does sound dead and is only a phantom. D: but like I said, might just be me.

The only problem I have (just nit-picking here really) is the way you wrote tantei (San/Han/kun) the dash with the spaces make it a bit hard to following. I would use (tantei-kun instead of tantei - kun.) but it's your story and I have no right to be an ass about it so if you don't want to change it, it's alright I'll adjust :) (again sorry for the nit-picking)

When you said Kaito 'killed' people, I was thinking "Gosh, what has be turned into?" but then I was relieved to find that was not what you meant.
