Hm...I like this one too.
The symbolism with the feathers, how you jumped right into his situation, the mindset you put Odd in; they were all great assets to the story. The ending leaves you wondering, questioning whether he survived, or whether he didn't, and keeps you toying with the idea in your mind that the opposite of what you think could have happened...Very nice.

Wow. Lol. Two reviews from me, on the same day, each on for a different story. That's pretty cool, and I didn't even know you wrote both, I was just looking through Odd-centric angst stories and happened upon them. Anyway, loved this one, too. Poor Odd... What a way to go... Y'know, I wish they would have done something like this in the show. Maybe not to any of the main characters, but a good character death makes the whole story much more compelling. Anyway, yeah, loved this fic. Great job!

Okay, I liked the way you ended it. Like, for the optimistic, you can imagine that he actually survives (like, there's got to be a little bit of space between blacking out and dying, right? Maybe? Nevermind :D)

but you should write more. Not necesarrily of this story, but more oneshots and stuff.
