Why not just let the being live then? Or have a natural lifetime before killing it? It's not fair to murder it just because it has a unique power. The fact that death would take personal offense and go after a newborn is terrifying. death is supposed to be completely neutral.

As it's been almost 2 and 1/2 years since the last update, I'm going to assume that this story has been discontinued. It's sad, I was really looking forward to finding out what would happen, but I know how real life can sometimes distract you until you lose interest or inspiration. Thanks for writing this, anyway! Though I'm really disappointed, I really liked this story.

Ugh I really wish you'd update. This is superb! Please come back and write more of it!

Great. Could you explain the court more thoroughly please? I'd just keep Bella in the background and just let her appear as the ex-girlfriend who Edward was in love with, but broke up with because she just brought trouble to the family. And I love both Deaths portrayal (he's always portrayed as such a nice guy) and Harry's looks. I really hope that Harry saying "...but we can be held hostage,trapped and made to do her bidding." wasn't foreshadowing.

Why can't she drop off the planet? I'll admit, I don't really like her... maybe send her back to her mom? I mean, Jacob doesn't deserve her shit, and really, why should anyone have to? No doubt she'd be comparing to Edward constantly, and if she saw him she'd go nuts, trying to get back with him, resulting in whoever she's dating at the time to feel dumped and ditched... Not to mention the idea of being beautiful and immortal and with Edward forever...

Anyway, enough ranting, I like this story! Hope to read more soon!

I don't think Bella is an out and out bad person, but she's not an especially nice one either. She's one of those people who's so thoughtlessly callous to the feelings of others in the face of her own desires. And that's why I dislike her character. Whoever she has to use, whoever she has to step on to get to Edward, she'd do it and feel only minimally guilty as long as she gets what she wants in the end. I don't think she really has to be bashed to be portrayed in a negative light, her own weakness and selfishness and obsessive feelings towards Edward does it for it. I know a lot of people like to call Twilight a love story, but I really don't see it like it. It's a story of obsession, on both sides, and how far two people will go to remain with the object of their obsession. Bella and Edward are two twisted character, making each other worse by their refusal to remain apart. I just really don't see the romance in it. It's unfortunate, because the base plot is good and interesting to build stories off of, Stephanie Meyer just wasn't a good enough writer to create a quality story.

As for this story, I'm very interested to see where you go from here. As I said, I see Bella and Edward as two characters who made each other worse by being together, so it will be interesting to see how they move on as two separate parties, Edward being the one to make the choice to break up. I see him improving already, but I could see her just getting worse and worse, in a long downward spiral until she hits rock bottom. I'd just hope she wouldn't take anyone down with her, but who knows. She latched on to Jacob pretty quick just to drop him like a sack of bricks at the first sign of Edward.

Hmm... can't wait to see where this goes. I haven't been too impressed with the majority of Twilight/HP fanfiction I've read. Many have a tendency to just rehash the story, replacing Bella with Harry, but that's just not interesting. And then others have a tendency to warp/bash Bella's character to an extreme degree and I really don't think it's necessary to do anything beyond portraying her as she appears in canon to make her look bad. It's always nice to see a unique take on this crossover.
