Yes, Tony would do this. And those would have nightmares. This is an excellent thought- and beautifully written, edited or not.
Misty Blue chapter 1 . 2/3/2013
Oh, I do. I do agree with you on that. He totally got Loki good and believing everything here, so it's only possible. Why, even his fellow Avengers almost believed it all, too!

Haha! If there's anyone who can match, or even outdo Loki, it is Tony Stark, the Man of Iron! :) I mean, their quick and smart minds? Flowing of thoughts? These two are like, almost twins, yet not at all, you know?

So, that's why the scepter didn't work on him. I've been wondering about that... Oh, yeah, that funny scene! Haha!

Yes, love it! Awesome fic!

Les Lettres de Marque chapter 1 . 12/2/2012
Thank you for this.

I was disappointed that they made nothing of the 'Loki cannot possess Tony Stark' situation in the movie, and I like this story in which that failure is bothering Loki, too.

I also like the depiction of Tony Stark as a man who understands that he's a ruthless killer. Tony in the movies always seems to be a man who's surprisingly honest with himself, on the subject of himself. He seems to know himself under the masks and the armor, even when the people closest to him get taken in by the surface images he shows them, so that recognition of what he's capable of, and, indeed, has done, sounds very Tony.

Plus, I never can repress a little chuckle of pleasure at any story in which the rest of the Avengers are given a clue that their resident genius is every bit as deadly out of the suit as in, and that clue proves to be an uncomfortable object to hold in mind for any of them. (I suppose this means I share a smidgen of Mr. Stark's vindictiveness.)

Well conceived, well written, well received. Well done. :) Kudos!
