Hey, I read “The Princess and the Pea” as a child. I’ve also seen the movie “Once Upon A Mattress” with Carol Burnett. (Yes, I know, I’m dating myself).

It was unique.I swear there is the same story in my Baby brother's English book. Weird aaah?

Gave me a really big smile, well written. Reminded me of Fractured Fairy Tales.

My husband is looking at me like I'm nuts because I was cracking up all the while reading this, and so I tried to explain and he thought I was even more nuts. I can just absolutely picture the "oohhh" at the end. Yes, it sounds perfectly juvenile when explained, but it was the funniest thing so who cares?

I love fairy-tale satire. The joke isn't difficult to get, but nicely executed.
