I can feel my heart breaking, god dammit. Dean's feelings loneliness and emptiness- his feelings of self-loathing- that are portrayed both in this fan fic and the show are some of the most heart wrenching feelings ever depicted. He tries so hard to put on a strong face, but after all the shit that happened to him, he's so broken. All he ever does is for other's, he's so selfless and loving and alone. Ugh just the feels... This was beautiful
