Wow this is exactly what I've been looking for! It's true it just doesn't seem like there are many true father/son bonding fics! Heck I can't even find a community of fatherly fics where he's either raised by Minato or even Kakashi! Wonderful writing by the way!

I don't know about others opinion, but in my honest opinion, your translating of naruto's dattebayo to English is a BIG no-no. it makes the feeling disappear you know? many fans become disappointed when English subtitles translating naruto's Dattebayo! become believe it!
*and I believe that originally cute catchphrase become something I dreaded*
once again in my honest opinion, you'll be better when you aren't translating it.
all that thing aside, I really love naruto-minato father son moments in here. keep up the good work!

It would have been better to just use Dattebayo. I have -never- heard a boy say 'like' like this, Canonly it's 'believe it'. I found the use of 'like' annoying to the point where I almost couldn't read the chapter.

-Please- don't use 'Like' Ino and Sakura might use it, but -never- Naruto.

Hell! I can't even see his -mother- using 'like' like this and she says -Dattebane-!

Sorry if I seem to be complaining, this this is truly what I think.

This is a very interesting start. This whole scene is easy to visualize and you can feel the poor guy's pain and the moment with baby Naruto was just cute. Keep it up! c:
