First off, I'm very flattered that you posted your fic because of me. Thanks! Secondly, you're right. It's a VERY confusing fic. The first half is from an alternate universe, I think, with the second half taking place in the canon universe. What was interesting, however, was that the writing style seemed to add an enormous amount of tension to the story. Without the description of actual setting and the people involved, all we had were conveyed emotion and voices. Rather like the audience is reduced only to the sensation of touch and empathy. Very intriguing. But also rather confusing, as it's extremely hard to relate to something without being able to form a mental image of the setting and characters. Almost like reading radio. I can't really demand more on the basis of plot-line as yet, but more for the sake of written experimentation, which is really interesting.
