Guest chapter 27 . 5/11/2015 Hey kid, Not trying to be condescending, just understanding. My best friend was diagnosed with 2 types of breast Cancer at 32 and went through chemo and all that ensued and her motto was "shit happens and then you deal with it." Not as eloquent as your life and living quote but the same idea. Another thought she shared with me (I am also gay and not very traditional in any way) was "what's right for someone else isn't necessarily right for you. So you do you." Being gay and even the least but closeted makes you feel that you are lying and creates a pea under the pillow/ sandpaper feeling that affects all aspects of life... And as much as we say it's to protect others it comes down to us not being fully comfortable. I look forward to the day when I really, really don't care! But at 35 I'm still not there. The last thing I will say to you is don't assume blame that isn't yours. You did your best even though it wasn't your responsibility. I would feel the same way in your position but as an outsider I can state unequivocally that it was never your responsibility and you did all you could. Take care of yourself and your heart (physically and emotionally) When in doubt roll your shoulders back, keep your chin up, and trust yourself. You are stronger and more capable than you realize. |

R3dN0te chapter 27 . 5/5/2015 Two words "oh no". Thanks for updating. A cruel cliffhanger that got me praying/hoping for the best. I know you won't make people cry right? * puss in the boots eyes looking at you* I suck at comforting people. But I just want to say dont be sad. You can't change the past or know the future. |

Roydell Hughes chapter 25 . 10/28/2014 The story was very you going to finish it? Please do. |
Guest chapter 25 . 9/8/2014 It's sad that Jane and Maura only had a short time together, 4 years is a long time hopefully everything will work out the way they want. I thought Jane was going to take her foster son with her? Maura must be so lonely now that so many of her love ones are leaving her, maybe she can use the the apart wisely by showing her daughter Tina what she knows. Great update as always and can't wait for more. |
