This is SO beautiful I'm in awe. The way you write is just I cannot stop reading this and falling more in love. I love love how you wonderfully explore Emma/Jefferson AND Charmings relationship with Emma, just seems so natural.

I liked this chapter, though it was pretty rough on August's character. I continue to enjoy your use of Henry and Grace, and the idea of both Emma and Jefferson bonding with their children through shopping is a nice image.

How about longer chapters? It feels like there's more you want to say, especially with regards to the other townspeople.

Ahh, so good! You've picked a very unusual take on a romantic pairing and I'm completely digging it! Hello, new mental fanon. You've gotten a perfect blend of the madness and zealotry in Jefferson's character with the loyalty, affection, and goodness we saw he has for his daughter. Of course, putting anyone on a pedestal is a dangerous angle for a relationship, but this is Storybrooke and pedestals are pretty much a fact of life for these characters.

It all feels so deliciously old-fashioned and yet scintillating. More please!
