Pretty good post manga story for as short as it was. I liked your depiction of I&K's family life, and it was kind of amusing how they had a son who could travel so far in such a short time. Inuyasha's rescue certainly was dramatic. I liked your descriptions of what Inuyasha and Kaogme were thinking as they went through the experience too.

Still it was a bit too convenient for the plot that Jomei just happened to wander into the most dangerous environment possible. Also, it was kind of disappointing that Kagome didn't get to take a more active role, even if there was a legitimate reason behind it. Still a good story overall.
