Sajobst chapter 1 . 1/10/2019 It doesn’t connect to the 1st page or how she became a raven and I thought we were gonna explore more of what she is and if she’s changing to immortal which I assumed because she didn’t die. |
foolalex chapter 16 . 12/2/2018 Really enjoyed your story, and so glad you completed it, even if it wasn't the normal happy ending. I'm glad Sarah found a better female role model/mentor since she didn't have one in her mom. Hits kinda close to home though, since I've recently become a "single" mom, and my kids and I live apart part of the time while they're with their dad. A hug to those out there that are in similar situations. |
Guest chapter 16 . 9/7/2018 Very few stories draw me into them so deeply that I feel I’m walking through them as they unfold. This story is deep, dark, and beautiful. You are a great storyteller. Thank you for telling this one. It drew out of my reality, or rather, into it. Thank you. |
Stalianha chapter 15 . 6/11/2018 Hey, I feel cheated ! I kept expecting until the very end that we'd see Jareth take Sarah back to the Underground. That prologue was not fair. XD Jokes aside (though my point stays valid), the story was very captivating. I couldn't stop reading before I reached the end and cheated on my sleep quite a lot. You're good. I'll keep an eye open for the updates on the sequel, expecting that this time, there will be Underground time and romantic development. Because, poor Goblin King ! |
the yellow flower chapter 15 . 5/22/2018 Sooooo when you say there’s more to tell in this series...How’s That coming along...? Wow. Just wow. This was just brilliant. An excellent read. I thought the end was a little chopped, but having read your feelings on Bowie I am simply glad you found the will to finish this story. Reading Labyrinth FF has honestly helped me because it sort of creates a kind of magick around Bowie. Maybe his time in this time was up. Maybe some generations past us will see him again and in another form. We’re not The only generation that needs an artist like him to come our way. Anyway, clearly I’ve enjoyed this story so very much. I couldn’t help but review. This has been one of my favorite reads on FF. Thank you thank you thank you for sharing and I look forward to following you in the future :D |
the yellow flower chapter 14 . 5/22/2018 So relieved Sarah has found closure with her mother. Also loving how you’ve gotten around dropping specific names and companies haha |
the yellow flower chapter 13 . 5/22/2018 Well...I hadn’t been planning on crying tonight. Poor Richard. It’s so hard to look backwards in such depth when it comes to how far we’ve come. So sad. So very, very sad. |
the yellow flower chapter 12 . 5/22/2018 I’m not entirely sure what this side quest of a chapter will mean for the story, but I loved it nonetheless. It just makes me all the sadder that mortality is a thing and the Goblin King always ends up alone. It’s been interesting being able to view the more private side of his life and the good deeds beside the questionable ones. Also...his chosen name as David. Haaaaaa. |
the yellow flower chapter 11 . 5/22/2018 Cyrano! Also, Sarah is so cool. I love her clap-back remarks. The goblins are kind of adorable too. Unrelated...why were they naked in the dream? Symbolism? Being bare to truth? Loving all the history we’re finding out about Goblin King throughout the story. Very interesting. |
the yellow flower chapter 10 . 5/22/2018 Uh ohJareth’s in troubleI wonder if he’ll ever let Sarah know just what’s been happening. Also, the CHALLENGE ACCEPTED bit was hilarious XD Side notelove the way Jareth talks about magick. Very second nature and believable (which makes sense for him) and also reaches the reader in an open minded way. |
the yellow flower chapter 9 . 5/22/2018 This cast list is perfect. Also, that moment in the city where Sarah has a mini-meltdown, I’ve totally been there. And I usually have one almost every time I’m stuck in NYC for too long. This is why I go for work and not to live...maybe that’s my problem... I also do not envy the trek from Jersey to Brooklyn. No, thank you. A magician...sounds intriguingI like her bluntness. |
the yellow flower chapter 8 . 5/21/2018 This story just keeps hitting all kinds of real for me. I have a friend who lives in Park Slope and visited her last month. I walked 7th Avenue. Oh and side note, I’m currently the same age as Sarah in this story. What in the world? And my dogs a reoccurring character? Anywho, on a writing note, I love how you unabashedly decided to throw in the first person point of view narrative in this chapter. Very interesting and sort of like a wrench, but in a good way. What does it mean when the author tells us not to fully trust the characters point of view? Hmmmmm |
the yellow flower chapter 7 . 5/21/2018 I’m loving the goblins. They can be so fun to create and you’ve really used that to your advantage. Creepy stuff from the street. That guy...a ghost maybe? And my first thought in this was Poor Sarah, but I love that she’s accepted what can really make her happy and is taking her life back. I’ve been there. A few times really. And I’ve wanted to hop on a plane too. Sometimes I did. It’s harder to stay, but can make for a better story. |
the yellow flower chapter 6 . 5/21/2018 You described my dog almost to a T! As if I was t enjoying this story enough already you made my dog into a character. You even gave her table manners... I am liking Sarah more and more. What a great wish! Also, so many stories in FF where Sarah wants GK like mad. It’s gets predictable and taxing. Sarah just trying to be a good human being and in a selfless realistic way makes me so happy. I’m so loving all of these references from around the world. When I can’t travel I life I travel in books. This scratches is the travel itch for now |
the yellow flower chapter 5 . 5/21/2018 This is like two planets colliding at just the right time. Wow. I just can’t say enough how impressed I am of the entire state of being you’ve created for these two character right before intersecting their lives. I also laughed when she opened the letter and glitter came out. And I’m loving all the information on the origins of where the elements of the letter came from. The first meeting- very suave...at least for GK haha. And pancakes! Lol! |
