| juju-bean chapter 1 . 6/23/2017 This was pretty stupid and I happen to hate Rowling. There is something fundamentally wrong with this fandom. It absolutely loathes characters from poorer backgrounds and treats them as morally inferior in everyway. It does this while pretending to be offended at the supposed one dimensionality of the book's aristocratic characters. And to make matters worse you latch on to the most toxic possible relationships you can think of and try to pass them off as mature or insightful. I realize the fandom doesn't like that Rowling mocks the middle class prats it largely draws from. I get you all probably think it unjust. It wasn't and frankly speaking, you should all be belittled every moment of your lives if this is the sort of wish fulfilment you indulge in. |

Poor J.K, after all the effort she put into making Skeeter such an unlikable character, and her descriptions of her dubious talent in narrative (and any kind of writing in general) it would be such a blow for her to read this... I'm actually rather tempted to send her this fic, if I had her email address that is,or the guts to do it. So really I won't even ask your permission because it's never going to happen, nevertheless it is a very entertaining thought. Thank you. |
