This was wonderful! The creature was really frightening and so well described I could really see it and hear it. I even found myself holding my breath with the right to get Sam free! I love it when a fic makes me forget where I am and that is part for the course with your stories. Thank you so much!

Wow, it was touch and go there for Sam with the twin offspring serpents slowly squeezing the life out of him and thank goodness Bobby was the voice of reason with Dean telling him he needed to concentrate on the snakes if he wanted to save his brother. And typical Winchester luck the boys getting a rash from the poison ivy whereas Bobby was immune, and trust Dean to put the cream on a delicate area! Perfect ending, great banter, and the boys recuperating side by side.

Just knew that hunt was too easy for them, killing the sachamama like that! And Bobby was a bit premature leaving the boys and heading back to the car, leaving them to salt and burn it. In true Winchester fashion two serpents have now suddenly appeared, attacking the youngest Winchester. And Dean certainly picked the wrong time to have a pee, but there again, fighting for Sam with a full bladder would have been a bit distracting!
Off to read the second chapter of this entertaining story!

Damn! What a great story! I was so worried about Sam! Those darn snakes almost killed him! Good thing Dean and Bobby didn't give up on Sam! It's a wonder he didn't end up with brain damage. O.o Once again, it's Sam that gets attacked. I really liked the end of your story too. Sam and Dean were almost acting like little kids. lol Sam sure was stoic about his injuries. I guess he figured that Dean was doing enough complaining for the both of them.

Crap! What a horrible thing to hunt! I like the back and forth between the boys, and Bobby's aggravation with them. Leave it to Dean to tease the crap out of Sam, as though he doesn't have his own fears. Good thing Bobby was aware enough to see the giant snake before it could attack, but it almost got him. Now, it's offspring have got Sam, and Bobby isn't close enough to help Dean save him.

This was extremely exciting! Great story!

Oh you know how dearly I love your stories and this was one was so cute! Great job love! :D

You did a good job with Bobby and the brothers voices in the first chapter. Dean and Sam did seem to be joking more than I would have pictured on a hunt, but I did have to smile as Bobby tried to rein them in. Though I have to admit that even after reading it a second time I did not get all the inside jokes.

I loved the action packed fight scene as Dean, Sam and Bobby battled the mother snake.

Nice surprise as we all thought the snake was dead, (except there was a second chapter - so did wonder :)

I've mentioned it before, but sometime I have to remember to breathe. Though Sammy was suffering much more than me. I loved Dean's words and actions as he kept trying to keep Sam with him. I could just hear Bobby barking the orders for Dean to stay on task. I was focusing on Dean and Sam, but remembered Bobby was also trying to save one of his 'boys'.

Thanks for the hug! I love that Dean was able to calm Sam down and orientate his brother back to the present, letting him know the snakes were gone.

I wasn't expecting the poison ivy, but had wondered why Sam was itching. The motel scene was interesting... I liked the final lines as Dean watched over his sleeping brother and checked his breathing.

I love that Dean - despite throwing his brother under the bus every time he can - is still there for Sam when it really matters. The scene where Sam stopped breathing made me cry. I could just feel Dean's panic and desperation there - so well done. Loved your Bobby, btw. Loved the story :)
