| JaniceC678 chapter 12 . 11/15/2013 Wow...just found this on the recommendation of Jenjoremy who I see reviewed just before this. Definitely deserves more attention. Especially for a first fic, you did an AWESOME job. Love the whole kidnapped/tortured Sam and desperate/heroic Dean to the rescue scenario. Tying it in to the implications of EVERYTHING that happened back when he was 14 added an extra level of emotional pain, although I kinda wish in the last chapter he had actually confided in Dean, even if you didn't get into graphic detail. Your balance of just the right amount of torture and pain was well done...not overdone but enough to definitely make the point and let us feel Sam's suffering. And I LOVED the mix of both human and supernatural baddies acting together. The appearance of Bobby and Ellen was a great bonus, too! I'm SOOO looking forward to reading the rest of your stories! If this was your first attempt, I can just imagine where you go with the rest of it! |
