fannn chapter 17 . 3/19/2019 tbh I would kill for an update but I understand and respect that you may not want to post one. I know it's been years and years- you probably have moved on past this. I just want to say I adore this series and the rest of your writing. |
Shine chapter 17 . 7/4/2018 Hey, I just found this series and I can’t find cycles the next story. So I wanted to know if you wrote or took it down. |
Martisz chapter 17 . 3/19/2016 I love you for this series. It proves that you can link math (higher math!) and literature and I jljust love it that way. Plus your view on languages - this are simply my favourite things and you brilliantly connected them within the story. And I like how you reinterpreted Avengers plot. |
Maia2 chapter 17 . 8/21/2013 Gahhhhh. I truly hate you. Well, probably not as much as the people who read this when you first wrote it and had to wait for the sequel. But I should say something more helpful. Something about how I really liked the complexity you weaved into this story. It's there, with the numbers, the equations, the roulettes, the sequences, spirals and fractals. I really liked how you were able to fit all of these cycles, plus the dream into the movie we know. How everything changed, got a different contrast. How it became sharper, more difficult to catalogue. And what you've done with the characters. Tony, Loki, Thor, Hawkeye, Steve... Coulson, Bruce, Fury, Natasha. You've added one extra layer to all of them. And I miss Thor. I want him to be there, help his brother heal. And I miss Tony, I wish he could find that summer again. And I miss Loki, lost behind a blue prison. And just as he gets rid of it, there's the whispers of Baldr. And I really, really don't like Baldr. Don't like what he's doing, though I think I kind of understand why. Hopefully you'll bring them all back together. And this cycle it will be broken, avoided. But overall, it's a wonderfully told story. Well done. |
ClaMiAl chapter 17 . 8/7/2013 This was a really cool story! It was a bit confusing, sometimes, especially when it came to parts written in Loki's or Clint's POV, but then, they are both mentally compromised, so in a way that fits. Also, the whole thing where Loki (and Tony, in a way) describe things through math...that was really awesome! I've never seen that done before, and frankly I'm not enough into math to come up with these connections myself, but dud, they fit! Like that thing where when L approached F and something else approaches zero and that means that Loki calms down when he's around Frigga...super cool! |
Silvanesti chapter 17 . 2/17/2013 Intriguing as always. Different from other stories, well written and interesting. I'm looking forward to Cycles. |
Akai-Tsubasa136 chapter 17 . 2/9/2013 I really and truly do love your 'If and only if' series. It really has so much power behind it and I love reading every chapter. So of course I am absolutely DYING for Cycles but take your time and enjoy your break from writing this story! :) Though, one of my favourite parts of bifurcation is how you successfully use the avengers movie as a framework for this entire section, and show how if the characters had a different background, how they would act and feel if they were put into the same scenario as the movie, which I must mention you did beautifully. Though my favourite part of this story is probably when we see parts of the story through Loki's perspective (like wbss 21 said) because you really do get a feeling for how different and how mathematical he truly is, and you can only do this because you have the mathematical knowledge to pull it off. The way you use brackets while in Loki's perspective is also really interesting because although it is difficult to read, it shows how Loki thinks of so many things at once and shows his complicated thought process to the readers. So yeah... Keep up the good work and I hope to be able to read cycles soon! 3 |
Orange-y27 chapter 17 . 2/8/2013 amg i'm so sorry. ;AAAAAA; I just got around to reading the rest because this is the only time I had free time once again. aueabfjebfladfkdlnfskvsjlbjr fhuehuehuehahahaheuheuehuehu eheuheueeufkjrsalkddfe.I am *this* close to lnyching you. but I need that chapter of Cycles. aaarrrrgh i new this was going to happen. ahvfhkejkarrrrgh y u so cruel. ;aaa; |
Abandon-Morality chapter 17 . 12/27/2012 Ah, you- you- I - I can't even express - and how Could- and ARGHGHGH! |
wbss21 chapter 17 . 12/26/2012 Completely brilliant, and what a way to end this section of the story. Not exactly on a happy note, and that took guts. Of course, the story between these two isn't over, but it's still painful to read, and real blow to the gut. I love the way you write from Loki's perspective, how you really convey how differently his mind words and thinks from other people's. How he literally thinks in numbers and equations, not in words. In this strange sort of way, it makes Loki seem incredibly vulnerable, and I suppose that sort of comes from the fact that he's alone in a world that doesn't and never has understood him. From that stand point, you understand just why Tony means so much to him, and why they're bond is so intensely strong. Because Tony DOES understand him, and accepts him, and how this story ends here, with Loki going out to seek Ragnarok just to save Tony from Her, it's a testament to the strength of that bond, and that love. What's so incredibly sad here is how Loki himself is being used and manipulated. How these outside forces which seek to end the world and the universe won't just simply let Loki be, won't allow him any kind of happiness. Loki's love for Tony is so strong, that he's not seeing how inciting Ragnarok would do the opposite of keeping Tony safe, or destroying any chance they have of being together. All he knows is that she said she wouldn't touch Tony if he gives her her End, and that's all he can see. Just another brilliant done story from you, and so incredibly profound and poignant and heartfelt. I can't wait to see what happens from here on out, and here's to hoping Loki and Tony get their happy ending. |
Kosaji chapter 17 . 12/24/2012 Man, just when I thought everything was going to get better. Poor Loki, I hope he gets better (more sane and secure). Kosaji |
Selene-of-the-Moon2 chapter 17 . 12/24/2012 *wails* Noooooo! I was desperately hoping for a tearful reunion and some awkward explanations. TT-TT But I had an awful premonition when you made that comment about lynching. |
Ordis chapter 17 . 12/24/2012 ... tddyjtdyjd YOU ARE AWESOME AND THIS IS EPIC AND- take care of yourself and recharge, yes? I love this series but I love you feeling better more. *Hugs you* Thank you so much for this! |
Roara chan chapter 17 . 12/24/2012 OK, honestly, after an ending like that you deserve a break. Jeeze, tear the heartstrings a little more, will ya? I didn't see Death coming either, I had completely forgotten about her. I can't wait for your next installment, but take as long as you need, get stuff straightened out. We'll be waiting. Great job, and wonderful story. Roara-chan P.S. This is the last chapter, right? Otherwise I'm making an astronomical fool out of myself. |
HSC chapter 16 . 12/21/2012 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOO! how could you leave it like that? amazing fic, i love it so much :-) |
