Wow, this was great! I especially like how another soldier did well-it really shows that there's more to the world than just Zack and Cloud. That just really stood out to me.

For pairings, I'm perfectly fine with anything as long as it's well-written and doesn't take the focus of the story.

Your reasoning on now the system is set up sounds good. I was in the Navy in the 70's and being female will did not do a lot of physical exercise but marching we did do a lot. LOL

That's pretty cool how you put so much thought into how SOLDIER is structured. And it makes sense given what we learned in Crisis Core. Angeal did say that it took more than strength to make First.

I like where the story is going so far. Zack ended up being one of my favorites after Crisis Core. I did notice a few spelling mistakes and a few sentences that maybe needed rewording. It would also be nice to have a few more discriptions. I think that might help in making your chapters longer. When I say discriptions I don't me just go on and on with how something looks, but try to put it into context. Like you could mention something about Cloud looking around and just seeing seteral white walls that made the room seem bigger and intimidating then it acutally was. Just a little advice.

Anyways can't wait till the next chapter comes out.

Poor Zack, having to stand in line. That has to be torture to someone as hyper as him. So you went through MEPS? Cool. I've researched it for a possible fanfic but there really is nothing like actual experience.

Interesting that you have Kunsel be the drill instructor. Figures Zack would make him into a friend.

This definitely looks like it'll be interesting. I can't wait to see more of Zack and Cloud's interactions! Although, I'd warn against marking flashbacks with the words 'flashback'. If you put some words that imply it's a flashback (e.g "He thought back to the day") Also, a flashback within a flashback isn't very advisable. It gets kind of clunky looking. Remember: you want to stay in the present as much as possible. That's where the story is, after all.

This is a really cool idea! A few typos here and there, but we all make those. I wonder, though, how much of a height difference there would be between a ten-year-old Tifa and a thirteen-year-old Cloud. He's described as being small at that age and girls tend to have their growth spurt earlier than boys.

Looking forward to seeing Cloud and Zack train together.

Didn't see any glaring mistakes, and I huggles the concept. I haven't seen enough to decide what I dislike. Wouldn't it have been great if Cloud and Zack had met sooner? I think that it would have made a difference too.

It has promise, and Tifa having a crush on a Cloud 3 years older then her is kinda cute.
