Great story; interesting concept and a nice Swanqueen focus (Feeding my addiction nicely!). I like the exploration of Regina's softer side; there's a definite changed quality to her character. She's less angry obviously, slightly less (although given Emma's starting predicament, still apparent and true to her character) reactivity to situations. I love that you've explained that by her past with Emma - the change she obviously went through, further bought about by whatever event happened between the two that Emma pulled away from. Then there's the longing but insecure hope that's a nice touch. Her changed character shows not only in the way she treats Emma but also in her plans for the kingdom and Henry. You've put some nice attention to detail in there and I very much appreciate that in a story. It's one of the true ingredients of brilliant storytelling.

Very interested to see where the various story-lines are going. The latest addition of Belle reaching out to Regina is very intriguing! Being a Wicked fan though, I must boo and hiss initially at the thought of Elphie living up to her Wicked Witch of the West image! (What is it with those vulnerable, damaged, (often slightly evil) characters, I wonder, that makes them so lovable?)

Aaaah this is such a fantastic story. It's so refreshing to read about a Regina who isn't confused about her feelings and who knows exactly what she wants with Emma yet trying desperately to redeem herself and set things right. And i love the writing itself! the flashbacks regina has add such a great little insight into their relationship! Keep it up! I'm super stoked for the next update!
