Beckett's always to willing despite her protest to the contrary to make herself the martyr when things go bad for her.

How for such a badass Det. is it that she's always getting surprised and in most cases getting her ass whooped.

The reasons he gives for not being able to kill her don't make much sense

Just read from beginning to end. Exceptional writing, raw, emotional, insightful, just a great story. I really love too how you captured the undercurrent of the love that they have for each other. Many fanfictions that I have read use contrived angst to tell a story of the characters tearing themselves apart, hurting each other but you wrote a very suspenseful, involved plot with all the love there that they share, light and adorable at times and heart breaking at others. Perfect. you should be writing for the show. Thank you so much.
