You are a GENIUS! You're an exquisite writer that leaves readers wanting more abd more. This is a MASTERPIECE! Very sad ending, though - especially for Ellie May, the Baby, Forrest and Maggie (unrequited Love). LAWLESS is such an incredible story and movie. It is one of my very favorites.
Please, please, please - write MORE!

I've seen Lawless a few times now but reading this with tears in my eyes just heartbreaking I'm a sap but the story it's just awesome to me reminds me of my relatives from the Kentucky and their wild and wooly days bunch of Backwoods Moonshiners crazy people I've heard the stories very good story

no, nah, nope. i did not sign up for this pain. having finally got round to watching lawless saturday morning and immediately requiring more of the husky southern grunts and mumbles of the lovely forrest bandurant, i just spent saturday evening and nearly all sunday reading this and now i'm not mentally prepared to go back to work tomorrow after this heartbreak.

admittedly it's my own fault, i clearly didnt read the prologue properly because i've been under the illusion the previous 37 chapters that forrest and ellie would, agaisnt all odds, be fine come the end of the story and maggie was just going to be a peripheral character on the edge of the story or an obstacle to overcome. and now i feel bereft.

great story though, and i really enjoyed reading it. i know i'm clearly late to this party but per your authors notes i was a reader that was more here for the fluff and family side of life than the action. that is why i feel like you just killed my puppy. anyway, well done, sorry its 4 years late. now i'm just going to imagine that forrest and ellie got the happy-ever-after i wanted for them, *cries*

This was absolutely amazing, and so well written. The chapter that Ellie May and their baby girl died was heartbreaking. You are a very talented writer! I think I may need to watch Lawless again, Tom Hardy is awesome as Forrest.
